Reaction Grid

The challenge kicked off with Reaction Grid, a chemistry-themed crossword where teams had to complete reaction equations using their knowledge of reactants, products, and reaction mechanisms. This round tested both speed and accuracy, laying the foundation for deeper exploration into the world of chemical transformations.

Element Quest

In Element Quest, participants were provided with scientific literature detailing the properties and applications of various chemical elements and reactions. Their task was to analyze the given information and extract the correct reactions from the descriptions, sharpening their research and analytical skills

The Chem-Detective

The grand finale, The Chem Detective, challenged teams to identify unknown chemical samples through hands-on experimentation. Using both known and unknown substances, participants conducted a series of reactions, analyzed results, and compiled a structured report on their findings. This round tested their practical chemistry skills, precision, and ability to think like true scientists
